Cupid's bow or tubercle: A facial feature where the double curve of a human upper lip is said to resemble the bow of Cupid, the Roman god of erotic love. The peaks of the bow coincide with the philtral columns giving a prominent bow appearance to the lip. It is seen in fetal hydantoin syndrome. (Source: Wikipedia)

Temple: Indicates the side of the head behind the eyes.


Glabella:  In humans, is the skin between the eyebrows and above the nose. It also refers to the underlying bone which is slightly depressed, and joins the two superciliary ridges. It is a cephalometric landmark that is just superior to the nasion. (Source: Wikipedia)

Philtrum or medial cleft: A vertical groove in the middle area of the upper lip, common to many mammals, extending from the nose to the upper lip. Tragus: A small pointed eminence of the external ear, situated in front of the concha, and projecting backward over themeatus. It also is the name of hair growing at the entrance of the ear. Its name comes from the Greektragos, goat, and is descriptive of its general covering on its under surface with a tuft of hair, resembling a goat's beard. The nearby antitragus projects forwards and upwards.
